Is this set for eczema?
It’s made for eczema-prone, very dry, reactive skin and is designed to support comfort and the barrier. It’s not positioned as a medical treatment—but many people with flare-prone skin like it because it’s calm-first and nourishing.
What does Rescue do vs Restore?
Rescue is your cushion layer: a rich crème that helps relieve tightness and supports a stronger-feeling barrier.
Restore is your seal + soothe layer: a treatment oil that helps lock in moisture and leaves skin feeling softer and calmer.
Together: comfort + moisture retention.
Will it feel greasy?
It doesn’t have to. Use Rescue alone for daytime, and add 1–3 drops of Restore when you need extra comfort. For a lighter feel, mix 1 drop into Rescue instead of layering.
Can I use this on face and body?
Yes. It’s great anywhere you get dryness or rough patches - hands, elbows, knees, shins, neck, and dry facial areas. If you’re very reactive, patch test first.
How do I use it (best order)?
Two easy ways:
Layer (maximum comfort):
Apply Rescue to slightly damp skin → smooth Restore over top.
Mix (lighter feel):
Mix 1–2 drops Restore into a scoop of Rescue, then apply.
When should I reach for this set?
Any time skin feels:
- tight, rough, or itchy-feeling
- stressed by weather, travel, or over-washing
- “on edge” or post-flare
It’s a great night routine and a reliable spot routine for flare zones.
How soon will I notice a difference?
Many people notice softness and comfort quickly, while the look of roughness and dryness improves with consistent use over the next couple of weeks.
Can I use it with prescription eczema or dermatitis treatments?
Often, yes- this duo can be a supportive base to help reduce dryness from treatment. Apply prescriptions as directed, then use Rescue/Restore after once absorbed. If unsure, check with your clinician.
What’s the difference between this and Golden Oat?
- Rescue + Restore: best when you want deep comfort + targeted sealing (flare-prone, reactive days).
- Golden Oat: best for all-over hormonal/body barrier support and daily body dryness.
Want extra support?
- Clean Slate if cleansing triggers tightness
- Luna Crème if you want a richer overnight face step
- Bee Calm if dryness comes with facial redness/reactivity

Yes. Pure + Kiwi is made with sensitive, reactive, and changing skin in mind -including skin that feels drier, tighter, more easily flushed, or less predictable through perimenopause and menopause. You don’t need to be experiencing hormonal changes to use Pure + Kiwi; choose products based on what your skin needs now.
Are Pure + Kiwi products fragrance-free?
Yes. Pure + Kiwi skincare is formulated without added fragrance or essential oils, keeping routines simpler for skin that is easily overwhelmed.
How do I build a Pure + Kiwi routine?
Keep it simple with the Calm-First Method: Gentle Cleanse → Calm → Seal. Start with a gentle cleanser, add a serum or treatment based on what your skin needs, then finish with a moisturizer or facial oil.
How should I introduce a new product?
Introduce one new product at a time and follow the How to Use directions on the product page. If your skin is especially reactive, start gradually and patch test first.
What makes Pure + Kiwi different?
Pure + Kiwi combines New Zealand botanicals with proven skincare ingredients in small-batch formulas created for sensitive, reactive, and changing skin. The products are made in New York and rooted in founder Sonali Paul’s New Zealand background.
How do I know which products are right for my skin?
Start with what your skin is feeling now - dry, reactive, blemish-prone, dull, or changed by hormones - rather than trying to fit it into one fixed skin type. Take the 60-Second Skin Quiz if you’re not sure where to begin. The site currently offers both as primary starting points.
